Being involved with personal and business customers, the immigration consultant would need to be fully conversant with the points based system including Innovator, Start Up, Global Talent and Skilled Worker categories. In addition, casework will include:

European casework – assistance with EUSS and provision of strategic advice for business and personal customers

N

Individual immigration enquiries related to Appendix FM Family Life cases, Sole Representative and Visitors

Migrate UK is retained as in-house immigration advisor to some of the world’s largest most recognisable organisations both here in the UK and worldwide. The immigration consultant would participate in compliance audits on organisations and advise on record keeping, reporting duties as well as right to work checks,  This requires full understanding of compliance and sponsor management duties such as licence applications and SMS reporting.

Migrate UK is looking for someone who is highly commercially aware. A significant area of responsibility will involve business development.  The immigration consultant would be required to attend networking events, introduce new clients and increase Migrate UK’s contact base.  There will be opportunity to present at seminars and HR forums. Contact with potential and current customers will need to be made to establish rapport, arrange meetings and make organisations aware of Migrate UK’s services. This is a customer facing role, in person and online.

Good planning and organisational skills are a must for excellent workload management.  The immigration consultant must have the ability to rapidly analyse, interpret and present data to support decision making. A key requirement of the role is the ability to multi-task combined with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy at all times.

The immigration consultant will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision but must also be a team player.  A flexible outlook and a ‘can do’ attitude is very important.

This role would suit someone who is currently working in a similar role. Someone who is up with all the current immigration trends and proposed changes. The location of the position is in Milton Park, Abingdon.  There is provision for flexible working.

Immigration Paralegal

Migrate UK is looking for an experienced paralegal to help us manage our rising workload.

Supporting the immigration consultants, the paralegal would need to be highly commerical aware with a proven ability to effectively plan and manage a varied, challenging workload at a fast pace.  Building relationships and making things happen collaboratively are important.  As is attention to detail and accuracy which are key for this role.

The responsibilities of the position involve assisting Migrate UK lawyers in the provision of UK immigration services.  These services cover the points based system, family life and student categories along with Innovator, Start Up and Global Talent visas.  The duties include completing service agreements, legal application forms and cover letters.

The paralegal will work with customers to understand key facts around their case ensuring the case file is up to date.  In order to do this, the paralegal will need to attend client meetings with the Level 1 immigration advisor, log key facts and minutes.
