Immigration to the UK in 2021

2021 marks the most far-reaching change to the UK immigration landscape in over 45 years as the UK breaks from the EU and free movement ends.

Immigration news

A new points based system has been introduced that lowers the minimum skill and salary levels for a vacancy the first time in nearly ten years but continues to put a heavy emphasis on employer compliance. The introduction has been at a time when the world has been facing a pandemic, and in turn, this has meant some UK immigration rules being relaxed and concessions introduced. Our news pages are updated regularly with the latest changes.

New immigration categories are to be welcomed this year such as the Frontier worker permit, Graduate Scheme plus BNO (Hong Kong) visa.

The EU Settlement Scheme continues to invite applications from EEA and Swiss citizens and their families wishing to use the UK as their home.

The UK immigration system sees many updates throughout the year and we pride ourselves on being there to provide up to date guidance, strategic advice, hand holding or full representation on an application process you could find complex. Should you not find the information you need or should you need assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us.
