Sophie Gunputhram

Bringing with her 19 years of experience in administration, marketing and finance; Sophie comes with abundance of knowledge from having worked in many industries such as banking, publishing, infrastructure, education, aerospace, local council and childcare.
Within these roles, Sophie has managed and implemented new processes and procedures improving and streamlining the way companies work and has encouraged the use of new computing applications to keep up to date with ever changing technology.
Since obtaining her Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours at Oxford Brookes University, Sophie has gained much experience in roles such as Business Development, Executive Assistant, Operations & Finance.
Interest in finance was sparked in Sophie when she undertook the invoicing for projects at the University of Oxford and she decided she wanted to pursue a career in finance, as well as being able to apply her other skills if needed.
Since then Sophie has worked in finance for a medical imaging company and the UK’s leading childcare provider.
Having joined Migrate UK in February 2021, her enthusiasm to join our company was led by personally experiencing the positives of immigration first hand, as she would have never have met her husband without it.
Having a lot of integrity herself and flourishing working for companies that have strong values and that impact people positively; she is motivated here by knowing her role plays a part in a better future for others.
In her spare time, Sophie likes to be with her husband and their two young children, keeping active and enjoying the outdoors.
